I devoured this book quickly due to its simplistic language and compelling subject matter. But Donna-Faye is not that easy to understand.

I finished this book last night with tears in my eyes. The majority of the story is told from the perspective of Med, father to Kat, Bluey and Donna-Faye affectionately known as Fat.

I had a real feel for the character personalities and the story was face paced and drama packed goodbbye I really just wanted to keep reading. Sorry i just did not enjoy this book. She walked into the nursery, where a baby girl lay sleeping.

All the hospitals I know have one entrance open after the end of visiting hours — the emergency entrance. I found this a very sad story and it made me wonder just how many young women have been in a similar situation as Donna-Faye and how many children have been awarded to the State over recent years.

There was so much potential to explore the human psyche, yet this book does not delve deep enough.
